*Highlights: Bison Red shot 55 per cent from the field in a convincing win to open pool play. An 18-3 run in the first half help provide a 19-point halftime cushion and Showtime Hoopers Black never got closer than 16 points in the second half. Carter Larson led all scorers with 16 while Austin Allen added 11 and David Bohlen scored 8. Allen pulled down a team-high six rebounds while Rhett Harms had four steals and two assists. Trace Tupper blocked three shots.

*Highlights: Bison Red scrambled back from a 15-point deficit in the second half but fell just short in the second game of pool play. Minnesota Fury shot 51 per cent from the field and led 50-35 with 10:02 left in the game. A furious rally by Bison Red cut the margin to one with 11 seconds left after Carter Larson made a pair of free throws. Following a Minnesota Fury missed free throw, Bison Red had a chance with one second left but failed to convert. Larson registered a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds to lead Bison Red. David Bohlen added 14 points.

*Highlights: Bison Red’s 12-point second-half lead slipped away as Minnesota pulled to within three late in the game. A basket by Austin Allen and three free throws by David Bohlen in the final minute of play helped seal the win. Jaxon Harre led Bison Red as he scored 13 of his 15 points in the first half. Allen added a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Tommy Leininger had three assists while Rhett Harms had three steals. Bison Red shot 42 per cent from the field.

*Highlights: Bison Red finished tournament play with a 3-1 record in a game it led from start to finish. OSA Tesmer rallied to slice an 11-point deficit to five with 4:36 remaining but Bison Red answered the challenged. David Bohlen, who was 4-for-4 from the free throw line and 2-for-3 from beyond the arc, scored 9 of his 12 points in the final 4:14 of the game. Bohlen, Jaxon Harre and Dalton Taylor scored 12 points each to pace a balanced offense. Harre also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds while Taylor pulled down six. Tommy Leininger, Jake Ruzicka and Bohlen each had four assists. The win evened Bison Red’s record at 4-4 heading into the Jayhawk Classic in Olathe, KS.
