Highlights: Bison Red, despite a tough-shooting game, rallied from an eight-point first half deficit. An 18-10 run in the second half turned momentum and provided enough of a cushion down the stretch. Lane McCallum scored 12 points in each half to put up a game-high 24. Trace Tupper pulled down 13 rebounds but he had solid support from Jaxon Harre (8), Rhett Harms (7), and David Bohlen (6). Bison Red missed its final five free throws in the closing minute, all front ends of 1-and-1 situations. Texas Elite had an eqaully frustrating time at the free throw line, making just 12 of 22 overall and missing 4 of 6 in the final minute of play. With the win, Bison Red advanced to the tournament's championship bracket of 16 teams with a 9:45 game Saturday morning.
