Bohlen, from Adams Central, led Bison Red with 14 points while Austin Allen of Aurora added 10 point and 10 rebounds. Bison Red outrebounded Kingdom Court I 49-29 but a tough shooting game from 3-point range and 16 turnovers proved too much to overcome.

Austin Allen and Jaxon Harre of Millard South each scored 12 points to pace Bison Red while Carter Larson of Millard North added 10. Allen pulled down a team-high nine rebounds. Bison Red, behind the scoring of Jaxon Harre and Carter Larson, took a 10-point lead with 10:03 left in the game but Kingdom Court Elite used a 20-8 run to gain momentum. Rhett Harms’ two free throws tied the game at 56 with 3:44 remaining but a 19-6 Kingdom Court Elite run to close the game secured the win.

Highlights: David Bohlen’s floater from 10 feet with 20 seconds left boosted Bison Red to its first win of the tourney. Carter Larson led Bison Red with 18 points, Dalton Taylor of Columbus Scotus added 16 and Bohlen had 12. Allen grabbed 10 rebounds and Jaxon Harre had nine. TNE had a chance to tie or go ahead on its final possession but Jaxon Harre intercepted a pass that was deflected and Bison Red ran out the clock. Bison Red, for the second time in three games, took a double-digit lead but had to hang on down the stretch. Bison Red led TNE 29-18 in the first half but an 18-4 Elite run turned the momentum and the Omaha-based team led until the late stages of the game. A putback by Carter Larson followed by a layup by Jaxon Harre gave Bison Red a 62-59 lead with 5:37 left, but TNE responded with four points to regain the lead. TNE tied the game at 73 with less than a minute left to set the stage for Bohlen’s shot. Larson scored 14 of his team-high 18 points in the second half.

Highlights: Bison Red survived one OSA run in the first half but couldn’t come back from a 20-4 run to start the second half. Bison Red trailed 23-11 after a 12-0 OSA run but took a 33-30 halftime lead. A basket by Carter Larson gave Bison Red its final lead at 35-33 but OSA took a 14-point lead in the first six minutes of the second half and Bison Red never got closer than 12 points the rest of the way. Millard North’s Larson led Bison Red with 12 points while David Bohlen of Adams Central added 10.
